How to get there
We are keen to see as many people as possible at branch meetings and social events, but please don't drink and drive.
Fortunately, the branch area is well served by buses and trains — please see our public transport page for more information.
To get to more remote locations, we often share a car. Please contact us for more information.

The Kent Beer Festival: a Brief History
The first Kent Beer Festival was held in 1975 in Dane John Gardens, Canterbury. When it outgrew the site in 1987 it moved to Merton Farm, a few miles south of the city, where it has been held ever since.
It is one of the biggest and longest-running beer festivals in Britain, regularly featuring over 120 cask ales and ciders, including representatives from every Kent brewery.
The Champion Beer of Kent is decided annually at the KBF — the 2005 winner was Whitstable Brewery Oyster Stout.
Although the KBF takes place within the Canterbury, Herne Bay & Whitstable branch area, it is run independently. For more information, see the KBF's own website.
