I’d like to get branch news and updates by e-mail, and receive the monthly branch meeting minutes?

All you need to do is send an empty email the following addresses to opt-in or opt-out of our e-mail distribution list. Follow the instructions given in the e-mail reply.

Do I need a Facebook account?

Yes, if you would like to discuss  real ale news with your fellow branch members, receive branch messages and have our updates appear in your Facebook Wall.

How do I create a Facebook Account?

Visit the Facebook Help page for more information. All you need is a valid email address.

Do I need a Twitter account?

No, but if you have a internet enabled mobile phone, Twitter can be a useful way of keeping up to date of the latest branch news. Simple open your mobile phone web browser and enter the following address: http://m.twitter.com/camracanterbury

If you do sign-up for a Twitter account, for use at home or on smart phones (iPhone/Android) then simply search for CAMRACanterbury on Twitter and click on Follow.

How do I register for the Branch Page on Facebook?

You will need to LIKE our Facebook Page:

  1. Login to Facebook
  2. In the Search box enter: “Campaign for Real Ale Canterbury” and choose the correct page from the list.
  3. When the Page opens click on the Like button to link your account.
  4. You will now get status updates and emails from the branch’s Facebook Page

 How do I register for a Facebook event?

  1. On our Facebook Page, click on the Events tab
  2. On the Events tab you’ll see a list of upcoming events
  3. For more information, click on the event title
  4. To join the event, click on the RSVP link and follow the instructions. 

 

Sponsors

What do we need sponsorship for?

We need sponsors’ donations to help with the publication and printing costs of our quarterly Branch Newsletters.

Who can be a sponsor?

Anyone can sponsor the newsletter, but clearly the distribution will be local to Canterbury, Herne Bay and Whitstable pubs.

What’s in it for a sponsor?

This will be a great opportunity for you to help us, and for us to provide you with a direct marketing opportunity to over 500 pub goers in the region. We also have over 500 website visitors a month, and a large Facebook group who will also be able to see your sponsorship ads.

How much does it cost?

We offer a low cost sponsorship option, which you can see in the newsletter. Prices start from £25 for a 90mm x 50mm advert in the newsletter .

What Branch Newsletter sponsorship packages are there?

£25 for a 90mm x 50mm advert in the branch newsletter, whilst £50 will give you a half page. Contact us at camrachw@me.com for more information on how you can help with our printing costs.

How do I sponsor the Branch Newsletter?

Once you’ve chosen your sponsorship package, email your text or image file (JPG, PNG or PDF format), along to camrachw@me.com

Then click on the Donate button on this page and make the corresponding payment. Your sponsor’s advert will then appear on the website and the next branch newsletter.
